That allows me to match up the world to the non-normative way that I see it and it\u2019s the assist I need to make the visual field subjective\u2014to bring it around to my subjectivity.<\/em><br>\u2013 Peggy Ahwesh in conversation with Leo Goldsmith<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Le Visite Festival, en collaboration avec Het Bos, Sound Image Culture, KASK et CINEMATEK invite Peggy Ahwesh pour un programme d\u2019exposition, de projections, de performances et d\u2019\u00e9changes se d\u00e9ployant \u00e0 Anvers, Gand et Bruxelles, du 15.11 au 23.11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Les films de Peggy Ahwesh composent, depuis les ann\u00e9es 1980, un cin\u00e9ma de petits gestes saboteurs, en friction avec un canon artistique un peu trop bien install\u00e9. Usant du Super\u20098 et de la PixelVision, du found footage et du machinima, voire m\u00eame de drones et de cam\u00e9ras thermiques, Peggy Ahwesh travaille une image en mouvement h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8ne et chahuteuse, d\u00e9barrass\u00e9e de toute h\u00e9ro\u00efsation de son\u00b7sa cr\u00e9ateur\u00b7ice, de toute f\u00e9tichisation du support.
